The first Direction removed rights under Part 2 for the erection of gates, fences, walls and other enclosures and the formation of new accesses to highways. The second Direction withdrew rights under Part 5 for the use of land as a caravan site, Part 6 for agricultural operations on holdings under 5 hectares, and Part 7 for forestry developments. It also removed rights for repairs to unadopted streets and private ways and for the recreational use of land by organisations including tents.
