Description	Article 4 Direction: Land Adjacent to Wildwood Golf Club, Horsham Road, Alfold (A4D-28) was made by Waverley Borough Council on 23 June 2006 under the Town and Country Planning General Development Order 1995. Two linked Directions were issued, both time-limited until 23 December 2006 unless extended or confirmed. The first Direction removed rights under Part 2 for the erection of gates, fences, walls and other enclosures and the formation of new accesses to highways. It also withdrew rights under Part 4 for the provision of temporary buildings and plant linked to operations and the temporary use of land for up to 28 days a year, including restrictions on markets and motor sports. The second Direction withdrew rights under Part 5 for the use of land as a caravan site, Part 6 for agricultural operations on holdings under 5 hectares, and Part 7 for forestry developments. It also removed rights for repairs to unadopted streets and private ways and for the recreational use of land by organisations including tents. Together, these Directions ensured that temporary uses, boundary works, caravan sites, small-scale agriculture, forestry, and recreational activities at the Wildwood Golf Club site required express planning permission.
