| Description | Prior to the commencement of construction activities, a Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The CEMP shall include all recommendations set out in the submitted Preliminary Ecological Appraisal (PEA) and Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA). The CEMP shall provide details of: Contamination 1. Storage and use of fuels and other chemicals. Any liquid storage tanks should be located within a bund with a capacity of not less than 110% of the largest tank or largest combined volume of connected tanks. 2. Training required for personnel dealing with spillages and spill kits available on site. 3. Details of maintenance regime for the installed equipment to check for drips and spills. 4. Details of grit or oil interceptors installed within the parking area. Ecology 5. A risk assessment of the potentially damaging construction activities 6. A method statement for the protection of reptiles and other terrestrial and aquatic fauna as detailed in the PEA 7. A method statement for the survey and protection of badgers 8. A sensitive lighting scheme to reduce night sky illumination and to protect commuting and foraging bats The development shall then be carried out in accordance with the agreed details. | Facts |
