Reason To preserve the character and appearance of Bawtry Conservation Area in accordance with Policy 37 of the Local Plan. Facts
Description All new stone heads to windows shall be constructed in natural stone (not reconstituted stone) to match the existing stone heads. Matching will take place after non-abrasive cleaning to existing stone heads has been carried out. Full details of the cleaning methods to be used should be submitted to and approved in writing by the local planning authority prior to the commencement of above ground works. Chemical methods of cleaning the stone will not be acceptable and steam cleaning such as a Doff system would be acceptable as this is a recognised non-abrasive method of cleaning. Facts
