| Description | Prior to the commencement of installation of any lighting to the manege or turn out area, a lighting design strategy for light-sensitive biodiversity in (specify the site/site areas) shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The strategy shall show how, external lighting on the development will be installed (through the provision of external lighting contour plans and technical specifications) so that it can be clearly demonstrated that it will not disturb or adversely affect the use of the semi-natural areas of the park by bats and other species of wildlife. The strategy shall be informed by the Institute of Lighting Professionals/Bat Conservation Trust, Guidance Note 08/18: Bats and Artificial Lighting in the UK. All external lighting shall be installed in accordance with the specification and locations set out in the strategy and maintained as such. | Facts |
