Notes Former concrete plant that is no longer in use and has been vacant for a number of years. The disused buildings, industrial infrastructure and apparatus have now been cleared leaving derelict hardstanding. Remediation may be required due to the past industrial use. This site is adjacent to further employment land, much of which remains occupied by operating businesses. However there is also recently completed residential development in close proximity. Any residential scheme would have to carefully consider the relationship with surrounding uses as well as overcoming any access limitations. It has been highlighted that the site remains available for redevelopment, with a residential scheme the preferred proposal of the landowner.
