Notes Vacant Grade II listed building and associated land. The was originally a social club but it has been utilised for a wide range of uses since. This includes as a museum, function room, auction rooms and residential accommodation. Potential for a sensitive conversion scheme of the main building to bring it back into residential use. There is also a large parcel of vacant land to the rear that could provide opportunity for additional new-build development. A proposal for construction of 1 dwelling and 9 flats on adjacent vacant land was permitted and later renewed (N/08/B/0645, 13/03590/VARYCO).
