Description	Article 4 Direction: Lowndes Buildings, Castle Street, Farnham (A4D-27) was made by Waverley Borough Council on 5 May 2006 under the Town and Country Planning General Development Order 1995. The Direction removed permitted development rights under Part 1 for enlargements or alterations to dwellinghouses, roof alterations fronting a highway, waterway or open space, porches to doors facing such locations, hard surfaces fronting a relevant location, and the installation or alteration of satellite dishes on elevations facing a highway or open space. By withdrawing these rights, the Council ensured that visible alterations to dwellings at Lowndes Buildings required full planning permission to preserve the character of Castle Street.	Facts
