| Description | Article 4 Direction: Long Garden Walk, Farnham (A4D-26) was made by Waverley Borough Council on 5 May 2006 under the Town and Country Planning General Development Order 1995. The Direction withdrew permitted development rights under Part 1 for several categories: enlargements or alterations to dwellinghouses, roof alterations facing a highway, waterway or open space, porches to external doors facing such locations, the provision of hard surfaces fronting a relevant location, and the installation or alteration of satellite dishes on elevations facing a highway or open space. By removing these rights, the Council ensured that visible changes to dwellings along Long Garden Walk required full planning permission to protect local character. | Facts |
