Description Article 4 Direction: Land at George Eliot Close, Witley (A4D-22) was introduced by Waverley Borough Council on 23 August 2005 under the Town and Country Planning General Development Order 1995. The Direction withdrew permitted development rights for the use of land as a caravan site and related site licence works, agricultural operations on holdings under 5 hectares including alterations to buildings, installation of plant or machinery, provision of utilities, private ways, hard surfaces, waste deposits and fish farming activities, and forestry development reasonably necessary for forestry purposes. By removing these rights, the Council ensured that caravan use, intensive agricultural works, and forestry operations at George Eliot Close required planning permission. Facts
