Description Article 4 Direction: Munstead Oaks, Brighton Road, Godalming (A4D-05) was introduced by Hambledon Rural District Council in 1960 under the Town and Country Planning General Development Order 1950. The Direction removed permitted development rights under Class IV – Temporary use of land (4B), which would otherwise have allowed the land to be used for up to twenty-eight days in total in any calendar year for the taking off and landing of aircraft. The Direction ensured that such temporary aviation activities required express planning permission in order to proceed. Facts
