There is an existing house on site, which has also operated as an office for the holiday park, together with a large shed for storage or vehicles and materials. The land was identified for redevelopment as a result of a proposal to relocate maintenance facilities to another location, closer to the caravan park. An application for clearance of the site, and construction of 6 new dwellings was submitted in 2013 but was later withdrawn prior to determination (13/02393/FUL). This proposal would have resulted in 5 net additional homes on completion of the works. As there has been no recent update from the landowner, and no further proposals for development, the current availability is unknown.
