The site is located adjacent to Hextable urban confines. The existing access onto Egerton Avenue is narrow but could be utilised if improved. It is important to retain the gap between Hextable and Swanley and to avoid encroachment here. Overall the northern portion of the site is considered able to accommodate development however it is located within the Green Belt so this designation would need to change in order for it to be developed.
