The site is located adjacent to Westerham urban confines. The existing access onto Buckham Thorns Road could be utilised however this is a very narrow lane and only suitable for a limited number of dwellings. The site lies within the AONB but is considered to be well contained. Overall the site is considered able to accommodate development however it is located within the Green Belt so this designation would need to change in order for it to be developed.
