The site is not connected to a settlement but is within walking distance of the services and facilities in Longfield. The existing access onto Fawkham Road could be utilised. The presence of ancient woodland would require protection and a buffer between the woodland and any future development. Overall the site is considered able to accommodate development however it is located within the Green Belt so this designation would need to change in order for it to be developed.
