  • Land at Runfold and West Farms, Farnham (1975)

    Legal-instrument

Article 4 Direction: Land at Runfold and West Farms, Farnham (A4D-14) was made by Waverley District Council on 19 January 1983 under the Town and Country Planning General Development Order 1977. The Direction removed permitted development rights for several categories. It restricted the erection and alteration of gates, fences, walls and means of access (Class II), temporary buildings and uses including painting, temporary structures, and use of land for up to 28 days a year (Class IV), and a range of agricultural operations such as new buildings, roadside stands, and mineral workings (Class VI). It also withdrew rights for the use of land as a caravan site except in specified circumstances (Class XXII). By withdrawing these rights, the Council ensured that boundary treatments, temporary activities, agricultural works, and caravan use at Runfold and West Farms required express planning permission.
