Description	Prior to the first extraction of mineral reserves, a Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Mineral Planning Authority, and thereafter implemented in accordance with the approved details. The CEMP shall include details of: a) A risk assessment of the potentially damaging construction activities in relation to wildlife and habitats. b) A method statement for the protection of terrestrial fauna that may be encountered on site. c) Measures to protect trees where the potential for roosting bats has been identified. d) The use of protective fencing, exclusion barriers and wildlife safety measures. e) The roles, responsibilities, and professional competencies of the people involved in implementing the CEMP.
