| Description | Detailed engineering drawings for the section of highway to be altered shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before works commence on site. Any gates shall be situated at least 20.0m back from the carriageway edge of the public road and hung so as not to open outwards towards the public highway and with the area of access road within at least 20.0m of the carriageway edge of the public road surfaced in bound permeable material.
