Description Article 4 Direction: Wood Farm, Portsmouth Road, Milford (A4D-21) was made by Waverley Borough Council on 12 August 2005 under the Town and Country Planning General Development Order 1995. The Direction withdrew permitted development rights for the use of land as a caravan site and related site licence works, agricultural operations on holdings under 5 hectares, and forestry buildings and private ways. It also removed rights for works to unadopted streets and private ways and for recreational use of land by members of organisations, including tents. By withdrawing these rights, the Council ensured that caravan use, small-scale agriculture, forestry operations, road works, and organised recreational activities at Wood Farm required express planning permission.
