Ground floor rusticated. Fluted Corinthian pilasters from 1st to 2nd floor & from ground floor to 2nd floor at the ends. Cornice & parapet. All sash windows, most glazing bars intact. Several Victorian bay windows on the ground floor & modern shop fronts built out in front of Nos 43 to 49. No 55 has a moulded doorway recessed between a pair of tapered Doric half-columns. Stretched porch to the paired doors of Nos 57 & 59 supported on 2 Doric fluted columns, 2 pilasters & 1 central curved bracket. No 59 also has a few palmettes on stringcourses.
