Notes | NY 88 SW BELLINGHAM HESLEYSIDE 5/27 Stable Block c 15 yards west of Hesleyside Hall GV II Stables and grooms' cottages. Date 1747 on datestone on left return but probably mid C19. Random rubble with ashlar surrounds to doors and windows. Lakeland slate roof. 2 storeys. 14 irregularly spaced bays, four of them with doors. All openings have heavily moulded shouldered lintels and hollow- chamfered reveals. Windows are late C19 sashes and casements. Rusticated quoins. Hipped roof and 2 stone corniced ridge stacks.
