Ashlar with Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys. 3-bay central block plus early C19 wings of one and 2 bays raised to 2 storeys in 1930. Flat arches with voussoirs to windows and door in central block. 12-pane sashes on 1st floor, 16-pane on ground floor. Right wing has early C19 gabled porch with a square peak to gable and a 16-pane sash window. One-bay left wing has 16-pane sash on ground floor, C20, 12-pane sash above. Gabled roof with flat coping stones and stone corniced gable-end stacks. Wings have hipped roofs. Interior: plain early C19 staircase, 6-panelled doors and plain late C18 fireplaces. In one room early C17 panelling with fluted pilasters, brought from Chillingham Castle, and an overmantel made from a C16 panel with 3 King's heads in roundels, also from Chillingham Castle.
