Notes | NU 01 39 LOWICK MAIN STREET (South side) 13/112 No. 24 (The Village Store) GV II Shop. Early C19. Scored stucco with pantiled roof and brick chimneys. Double span. Single storey, 4 bays. Raised quoins. Left bay has 3 steps up to Victorian panelled door in raised surround. Bays 2 and 4 have large 16-pane slightly-bowed shop windows in raised surrounds. Later shop door between. Hipped roof with 2 small ridge stacks. 12-pane sash on right return. Rear span probably older and originally part of No. 22 (q.v.). Included for group value. , | Facts |
