Notes | HARBOTTLE THE PEELS NT 90 SW 20/91 The Peels Farmhouse GV II Farmhouse. C18, refenestrated and rear wing added early C19. Roughly-dressed stone with Welsh slate roof. L-plan. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Originally 3 bays plus hind's cottage. C20 door in 3rd bay. 4-pane sash windows. Steeply-pitched gabled roof with C18 kneelers, flat coping and original corniced ridge stack. Renewed, rendered- brick end stacks. Rear wing has mainly 16-pane sashes. Interior has panelled shutters, 6-panel doors and a staircase with thick stick balusters and ramped handrail. , | Facts |
