| Notes | Former farmstead which has latterly been utilised as premises for a brewery. The space and buildings were used for storage and distribution. However, it is now vacant following the relocation of the company to new premises. As a result the site was identified for redevelopment for new homes. An initial application, for a total of 13 dwellings through a mix of conversion and construction of new-build homes, was permitted in 2018 (17/01286/FUL). However, this was not commenced and a revised application, again for 13 units, was then submitted and approved in 2020 (18/01207/FUL). The scheme involves a combination of selective demolition, alteration and conversion of the existing buildings, and construction of new-build homes. A number of traditional agricultural buildings are to be converted to create 6 dwellings, alongside the construction of a further 7 new-build dwellings. The works involve demolition of some modern agricultural buildings. Sites works commenced in 2023 and the permission has been implemented. To date, the residential conversion works have yet to begin, but once underway a steady build-out programme is expected to enable the development to be financed. As a result, the first completions are expected in the first year-year period, with the remaining units to be completed in the 6-10 year period. | Facts |
