Notes | Site within the urban area comprising dilapidated buildings and outbuildings. The site was formerly utilised as a builders yard and is also occupied by an existing stone dwelling. Offers potential opportunity for an infill scheme after clearance. A previous permission for demolition of the buildings and redevelopment providing 5 new homes (4 net) was secured some time ago (12/00966/FUL). This lapsed without implementation. The site has become increasingly derelict since then and had deteriorated to the point of being dangerous structures. An application demolition of the buildings was refused however (15/02021/FUL). It has recently been confirmed that the site has been sold and that the new owner intends to pursue a smaller development in due course, for a maximum of 4 homes. As a result of the lower yield it is now classified as a small site in the SHLAA. | Facts |
