About this dataset

Summary	A local plan sets out planning policies for how land in an area will be used and developed over time. Each local plan that a local planning authority is responsible for. There is a separate row for each current, emerging or historical local plan. Use this to: check how many homes the authority is planning to build in an area check whether a plan is still in date help you decide whether to invest in an area or submit a planning application link to detailed information on the local plan
