Blocked segmental carriage arch with rusticated surround in west range bay 1. Sash windows, some renewed. Hipped roofs with stepped and corniced stone stacks. Flat-coped courtyard wall runs south from west range then returns east to link with north-west wing of Hall (q.v.). Gateway adjacent to west range has piers with banded rustication and moulded caps; gateway in south has piers with rustication, vermiculate on south face, and pedimented caps.
